Job summary

Primary Weapons Systems in Boise, Idaho is seeking a proactive Buyer to manage materials and services that support our production plan. You will work with the Sourcing Manager to identify supplier partnerships for tooling, packaging, production materials, and outsource services.

Responsibilities include preparing purchase orders, selecting vendors, obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, scheduling delivery, and ensuring deliveries meet specifications with the Quality Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience with procurement processes and supplier management.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare purchase orders, select vendors, obtain quotes, negotiate prices.
• Schedule deliveries and ensure products meet specifications in collaboration with Quality Team.
• Track receipts and status of outsourced processes on a daily basis.
• Maintain supplier relationships and develop new/alternate suppliers.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for procurement.
