Job summary

Creation Technologies Boise is seeking a Buyer to support production procurement and internal supply chain requirements. You will collaborate with regional teams, manage PO actions, and generate ERP releases for production and new launches.

The role emphasizes maintaining inventory levels, communicating PO status, and driving cost reductions through supplier negotiations. Strong MS Office skills and ERP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations, Inventory or Purchasing Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 year of experience in Supply Chain is required
• Certification or enrollment in APICs or PMAC is preferred
• Lean Supply Chain experience would be beneficial
• ERP system experience within a Supply Chain environment including purchasing and inventory
• Proficient English business communications skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in operating a computer including using a Windows based operating systems and related software
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel (v-lookups, data filters, pivot tables etc.)
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills
• Self-motivated team player, able to work well under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Support customer material and business needs with regional/site teams
• Send POA reports to suppliers and manage PO Actions weekly
• Generate and manage ERP purchase order releases for production/new launches
• Monitor PO Status and communicate to the Customer Focus Team
• Maintain and set up parts in ERP (supplier, MPN, lead time, etc.)
• Coordinate with Materials Planner on pricing, NCNR, premiums
• Source materials to reduce delivery impact while controlling PPV/CMP
• Manage material escalations with Commodity Management and suppliers
• Handle MRB items related to quality, returns to suppliers
• Assist with contract changes and PFEP/VMI changes
• Adhere to supplier approval/review processes
• Lead small projects with support and mentor buyers
