Job summary

Solenis is seeking a skilled Materials Planner to coordinate inbound and outbound freight and procure raw materials to support Manufacturing and Tableting & Packaging operations. The role collaborates with production and logistics to ensure material availability and efficient product movement.

You'll manage SAP-based inventory planning, drive cross-functional partnerships, and lead the Shipping Department to ensure accurate documentation and compliant shipments across plant and external

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing or related experience.
• 5+ years of SAP experience in inventory management and material planning.
• Prior supervisory or management experience in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials and components for the main plant based on production direction.
• Procure components for Tableting & Packaging (T&P) per T&P production team.
• Collaborate with production teams to determine product availability for shipment to T&P.
• Manage third-party finished goods for direct customer sale or repackaging at T&P.
• Coordinate and oversee all inbound and outbound rail shipments.
• Create and maintain regulatory and shipping documentation for non-company-produced products stored at external facilities.
• Supervise and direct the Shipping Department, including loading/unloading activities, intra-plant trucking, and shipping documentation.
