Job summary

Building Automation Products, Inc (BAPI) is seeking a Receiving and Shipping Clerk to ensure materials flow to production and shipments are delivered accurately. You will receive raw materials, verify counts, label, and move items to correct locations, then pack and ship products via carriers. Some production floor duties may be required.

The role supports the Materials Team in inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment, with a focus on quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year receiving/shipping experience required.
• Experience with Kanban or similar inventory systems preferred.
• Understanding of basic electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials and parts with proper counts.
• Enter receiving information into the purchasing system.
• Label materials and move to correct inventory locations (FIFO/FEFO).
• Pack shipments and use commercial carriers.
• Assist production and with monthly inventory as needed.
• Perform picking to order and verify part numbers.
• Report inventory discrepancies and damaged goods.
