Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Materials Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Maryland. This role covers shipping, receiving, storing and distributing products, and requires updating the ERP system with shipment details.

Candidates should have 2–3 years in warehouse/inventory control, be able to lift up to 60 lbs, operate dock equipment, and work in a fast-paced setting. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, $20/hr, temporary-to-permanent.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ experience in warehouse/inventory control environment.
• Ability to regularly lift 10 lbs and occasionally 55–60 lbs.
• Ability to operate warehouse dock equipment and drive a non-CDL truck (physical required).
• Experience using ERP systems and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of products, materials, parts, and equipment.
• Check goods against purchase orders or invoices and maintain records; post weights and shipping charges.
• Enter data into the ERP system and prepare records for shipment.
• Operate forklift or other warehouse equipment when required; ensure safety and accuracy.

Position Description: Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Prepares and maintains records of items shipped and enters data into ERP system. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of products shipped. Reviews customer orders. Examines, stocks and distributes products and materials in inventory warehouses or manufacturing lines.

Requirements include:

• High School diploma or equivalent
