Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions in Southington, CT seeks a 2nd Shift Material Handler to support production lines by accurately moving materials, issuing and stocking, and cycle counting raw materials.

The role requires experience with shipping documents, strong computer skills, and the ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Pay rate is $20.50 per hour, with an earlier start time of 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Qualifications

• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand shipping and packing lists, etc.
• Adequate computer skills to operate related automated systems.
• Strong attention to detail including accurate cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Movement of all materials.
• Accurate issuing and stocking of production lines.
• Cycle counting of raw materials as required.
• Proper picking and loading of finished goods.
• Assure finished goods are accurately loaded and handled with care.
• Ensure loads are accurate and properly combined.
• Ensure scrap material is weighed and prepared for pickup.
• Safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.
• Other related duties as assigned.
