Job summary

RTX, including Pratt & Whitney at the US-based Asheville site, seeks a materials and shipping professional to support production and logistics operations. The role emphasizes receiving, stocking, and distributing materials, with emphasis on accuracy and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will perform packing, inventory checks, and coordination to meet internal and external needs, while following 5S standards and documenting all transactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in materials, shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue and transport materials per established procedures.
• Perform pick, pack, kitting, and shipping to meet in-plant and external customer requirements.
• Operate and maintain central cribs and other material handling spaces.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and adjust the database as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation is completed and entered into the system.
• Maintain inventory levels and support area requests for approved items.
• Follow 5S practices and safety guidelines in the work area.
• Lift, push, pull, bend, squat, and walk as required.
