PACCAR Engine Company is seeking a Materials Section Manager to lead lean manufacturing initiatives and drive efficiency across the supply chain. The role includes overseeing a team of 5–10 direct reports and up to 15 indirect reports, driving data-driven improvements and ensuring safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing, with SAP expertise and knowledge of Six-Sigma and continuous improvement concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• At least three years of SAP experience.
• Knowledge of Six-Sigma, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement concepts.
• Working knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, and Inventory Control.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Creates, executes, analyzes and monitors Supply Chain reports.
• Maintains system data and transactions to support processes.
• Manages documentation processes and ensures content accuracy.
• Oversees perpetual inventory control, accuracy and reporting.
• Collaborates with other departments to exchange information.
• Drives results through analytics, lean processes, and KPI data.
• Creates documentation for standard operations using Six Sigma tools.
• Manages and supports special projects as needed.
• Develops teams and individual skillsets.
• Promotes PACCAR Safety Policies and Procedures.
