Job summary

AbbVie in the United States (Mettawa, IL) seeks a Manager, Material Review and Promotion to lead the U.S. Commercial MRP process for advertising and promotional materials.

You will manage cross-functional reviews with Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, and agencies; oversee timelines, mentor a team of 10–20 project managers, and drive process improvements to ensure timely, compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Project Management or equivalent experience.
• Subject matter expert in understanding the material review process and associated policies and systems.
• Strong expertise in Veeva.
• Experience in print and digital formats.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional review of advertising, promotional, and training materials through the MRP process.
• Oversee and coordinate a team of 10–20 project managers and external agencies.
• Ensure timely, compliant material approvals with regulators and stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and develop process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure timely production, fulfillment and shipment of materials.
