Job summary

DP World is seeking a supervisor to oversee material unloading, receiving and storage processes at our Texas site. The role focuses on staging for counting, accurate reporting, and efficient transfer from receiving to storage while ensuring safety and equipment readiness.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in automotive or logistics settings and demonstrates strong communication and leadership abilities to drive performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma. A college degree is preferred.
• Experience supervising in an automotive or logistics based industry.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the unloading of all materials into the receiving department; ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection.
• Oversees movement of material from receiving to controlled storage in a safe, efficient manner.
• Monitors and measures team performance for accuracy of locator, receiving reporting, movement and storage.
• Provides appropriate equipment to ensure safe transport and storage of all materials.
