Job summary

Cincinnati Test Systems (CTS) is seeking a Receiving Clerk to accurately receive materials, verify against documentation, and record transactions in the ERP system. You’ll work with multiple departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth material flow within a manufacturing environment.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and forklift experience. On-site position with a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years receiving/shipping/warehouse/inventory/material handling experience preferred.
• ERP/MRP/shipping/inventory system experience; Epicor a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming domestic and international shipments.
• Verify materials against purchase orders and documents for accuracy.
• Record receipts and transactions in the ERP system.
• Identify discrepancies in quantity, part numbers, and PO details.
• Work with Purchasing/Accounting to resolve discrepancies.
• Complete and maintain receiving paperwork and documentation.
• Unload inbound shipments using appropriate equipment.
• Move materials to designated inventory, inspection, or production areas.
• Process miscellaneous receipts, including customer-supplied parts.
• Receive and process parts for assembly teams.
• Assist with loading outbound shipments when needed.
• Support Inventory and Shipping to maintain material flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized shipping/receiving area.
• Follow receiving, inventory control, quality, and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
