Job summary

Vaco Staffing in Jacksonville is seeking an Operational Receiving Analyst for the Southside in-office team. You'll prepare and analyze product samples, record specifications, and ensure reporting accuracy to support quality control across projects.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency with measuring devices and Microsoft Office. The position is second shift, in-office, with hours from 11:30–8:00 or 11:00–7:30, Monday through

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
• 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in flooring, siding, or roofing.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with measuring devices and light lab equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Measure, evaluate, and analyze product samples using lab tools and established procedures.
• Document discrepancies, poor sample conditions, and unusual specifications.
• Communicate with manufacturers/distributors as needed.
• Generate customer reports with findings and analysis.
• File and store samples properly; assist with disaster recovery planning.
• Provide cross-department support as required.
