Job summary

80/20 is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support warehouse operations in Indiana, focusing on accurate receipts, inspection, and inventory transactions.

You will unload shipments, verify documents against POs, perform counts, inspect quality, label materials, and enter data into the ERP system to keep inventory records accurate.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and obtaining a forklift license within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Solid math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience with computers, Windows, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Unload daily inbound ground and freight shipments in a safe and timely manner.
• Review vendor shipping documentation and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Perform quantity verification through hand counts or weight counts.
• Conduct visual inspections to verify part quality and conformity.
• Accurately label materials and complete receiving transactions in the ERP system.
• Identify, document, and communicate receiving discrepancies per procedures.
• Build skids of material, create purchase orders, and communicate with vendors on delivery, receipt and quality.
