Job summary

Indiana Automotive Fasteners, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Clerk to manage incoming and outgoing product shipments. You will unload trucks, verify contents against invoices, and organize storage until orders are needed.

You will communicate discrepancies to management and coordinate with suppliers as required. Candidates should have related experience or training, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Receives and records shipments, inspects contents against orders.
• Maintains inventory counts and stores shipments until needed.
• Uses paperwork and systems to process receiving and posting.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and record shipments of raw materials or products.
• Check shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
• Process incoming paperwork for various shipments in a timely manner.
• Verify paperwork is routed to dock personnel and vendors as needed.
• Close purchase orders in Great Plains/AS400 and post batches.
• Notify internal departments of discrepancies or damages.
• Label packages and route to proper departments; email stakeholders.
