Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking a warehouse receiver responsible for the accurate unloading and receipt of product at the loading dock. You will compare and verify all material against the Bill of Lading, document exact pallet counts, and sign the necessary paperwork.

You will be accountable for any discrepancies that arise. The role requires basic reading and math skills, some high school education, and 3+ months of distribution/inventory experience.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will ensure the accurate , timely and safe unloading and receipt of product and will compare and verify all material from assigned truck. This involved calculating the exact counts on each pallet and comparing these numbers to the Bill of Lading provided by each individual carrier. The receiver will document these numbers, sign the necessary paperwork, and is held accountable for any discrepancy thereafter.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Some high school education
• 3+ months of distribution/inventory experience preferred
• Basic reading and math skills required
