Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Inspector to visually inspect raw materials and products and to verify measurements with gauges and scales on the warehouse floor. You will segregate non-conforming items, document results, and perform data entry into relevant databases, ensuring accuracy and traceability of shipments.

The role operates on a safety-sensitive basis, with pre-employment drug testing and compliance to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read/write English and perform basic math.
• Ability to learn correct use of basic measurement instruments.
• Basic computer knowledge for data entry.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect raw materials and products, and use gauges, scales or other measurement tools as required.
• Segregate non-conforming parts or material.
• Complete required documentation for work performed.
• Enter data into databases for work results.
• Perform final inspection to reconcile outgoing shipments as needed.
• Identify possible causes of non-conformances.
