Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services is seeking a quality inspection associate to inspect raw materials and finished products on the warehouse floor, audit processes, and report non-conformances. You will operate alongside production teams and use gauges, scales, and tape measures.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and safety. Candidates should read and write English, perform basic math, and have basic computer skills for data entry. Prior QA inspection experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math.
• Ability to learn the correct use of basic measurement instruments (tape measure, scales, gauges).
• Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to inspect basic material, commodities, and/or processes.
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and/or parts, audit production practices and processes, and report on non-conformances.
• Accurately inspect raw materials and products visually and with gauges, scales, or other measurement instruments.
• Segregate non-conforming parts or material and complete required documentation for work performed.
• Perform data entry of work results into databases and reconcile outgoing shipments as required.
• Identify causes of non-conformance when required.
• Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
