Supersede in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Materials Quality Engineer – Testing & Product Development to lead testing, QC systems, and product validation for recycled plastics and extruded products. The role supports material qualification, extrusion and compounding operations, and certification programs, with travel to Elkhart, IN up to 25%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or related field.
3+ years in materials testing/quality engineering.
Experience with ASTM/ISO standards.
DOE and statistical analysis experience.
Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, document, and implement material testing procedures.
Lead quality systems, calibration, and lab training.
Conduct materials testing and analyze results for qualification and VP.
Support new product development with testing and material characterization.
Lead certification projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
