Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Materials Program Manager for a contract position based in Seattle, WA. The role owns financial models, budgets, and supplier relationships across the product lifecycle, from NPI to end-of-life, coordinating with engineering and operations teams.

The ideal candidate will excel at cost modeling, PPV management, and cross-functional leadership, with strong Excel and ERP experience, including SAP, in a fully onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain and program or project management with budgets and schedules.
• Hands-on procurement experience with purchase orders and component delivery coordination.
• Strong cost management and supplier management capabilities; experience with NPI/NRE/MVA/PPV.
• Advanced Excel skills to build, analyze, and maintain complex cost models.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP for supply chain, purchasing, and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and own the program’s financial models and cost targets.
• Partner with engineering and supply chain to set cost and schedule targets.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of components for NPI and production.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to mitigate issues and minimize escalations.
• Track actual costs vs targets and drive corrective actions.
