Job summary

Transcendia in the United States is seeking a Production Planner to assist the Supply Chain Lead with daily planning and scheduling tasks. The role focuses on aligning demand with material availability and ensuring on-time delivery of customer orders.

You will help optimize material usage, support production planning for extrusion and casting processes, and perform clerical duties as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in production planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, preferably in extrusion or plastic industries.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees and vendors.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Committed to continuous improvement and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Review open customer orders and plan up materials to fill customer orders by due date.
• Support production planning of blown lines and cast.
• Maximize utilization of material in production.
• Maintain min/max levels required if applicable.
• Other clerical duties as required.
• Cross training in other areas as required.
• Support to the Supply Chain Lead.
