Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Production Control Coordinator in the United States to manage material availability and support on-time production. You will monitor inventory, coordinate with internal suppliers, and participate in daily reporting to ensure material availability and quality.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or industry experience.
• Understanding of Excel.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates on time delivery of material as well as production schedule adherence.
• Communication, on behalf of the Production Control team, with internal suppliers to confirm material deliveries.
• Provide detailed analysis on anticipated shortages and corrective actions taken to minimize impact.
• Create and provide daily reports to project materials availability and reduce negative impacts of lack of materials.
• Update, maintain, and distribute metrics relating to material availability.
• Maintain the Plan for Every Part in the materials control database, withdrawal, and production Kanban’s.
