Butler America Aerospace, LLC. seeks an experienced Materials & Process engineer to support M&P activities for multiple product lines.

You will identify suitable materials, provide substantiating performance data, and develop design data and allowables while updating procurement and process specifications. The role involves design review and approval of materials (metallic, non-metallic, composites), processing notes, producibility, environmental conformance and protective finishes selection,

Qualifications

Responsible for supporting Materials and Process (M&P) Engineering activities across product lines.
Identify and recommend materials and provide substantiating data for processes.
Develop and analyze design data and allowables; create or amend procurement and process specs.
Interface with material supply chain, parts supply chain and various engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Design review and approval for materials (metallic, non-metallic, composites) and processing notes.
Ensure producibility, environmental conformance and protective finishes selection.
Engage with Supplier Support, Product Integrity, Procurement and Operations on material issues.
Advise on Non-Destructive test methods and corrosion protection/ prevention.
