Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation's Parflex Division is seeking a Materials Manager for the Manitowoc, WI plant. You will lead supply chain management activities including materials planning, production scheduling, inventory control, and procurement to optimize operations.

The role requires at least 5 years of purchasing/materials management in high-volume manufacturing, a four-year degree, and strong leadership and analytical skills. This on-site position supports lean initiatives and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years purchasing/materials management experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with supply chain management systems and lean activities.
• Four-year degree in business, engineering, or materials management is required.
• Analytical, technical, and strong communication skills for internal/external interfaces.
• Ability to lead, manage teams, and drive data-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the flow of materials from suppliers through procurement to delivery.
• Lead materials management, production planning, shipping, and inventory functions.
• Direct leadership for materials management and Shipping/Receiving Teams.
• Manage procurement, supplier evaluation, price negotiations, and compliance.
• Support lean initiatives and cost-reduction programs across the plant.
