Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation, Manitowoc Parflex Division, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead materials planning, inventory control, and procurement across the manufacturing location. You will coordinate with suppliers, production planners, and internal teams to optimize material flow and cost effectiveness.

The role emphasizes lean practices, data integrity in the MRP system, and leadership of the Materials Management and Shipping/Receiving teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years purchasing/materials management experience in high‑volume manufacturing.
• Experience with MRPII, JIT, cellular manufacturing; APICS/CPM certification preferred.
• Four‑year college degree in business, engineering, or materials management; certification preferred.
• Analytical and technical skills to identify automation opportunities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with internal/external contacts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (spreadsheets, word processing, databases, presentations).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the flow of materials and information from suppliers through procurement to delivery.
• Lead production planning, shipping/receiving, and inventory functions.
• Manage procurement activities including supplier evaluation, price negotiation and compliance.
• Oversee MRP data accuracy and material metrics to meet performance standards.
• Support lean initiatives and kanban/materials requirement planning techniques.
• Assist with audits and budget management for the department.
