Job summary

Nautique Boat Company, a leader in ski and wake boats, is seeking a Materials Supervisor to manage material planning, inventory accuracy, and supplier coordination to support manufacturing schedules in Orlando, FL.

You will lead Materials, Planning, Inventory and Warehouse teams, optimize Lean and ERP/MRP processes, and partner with Production, Purchasing and Quality to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of materials management, supply chain, or related manufacturing experience required.
• 5–7 years of leadership and team-management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma preferred.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains material plans based on production schedules and supplier lead times.
• Monitors material requirements and addresses shortages and scheduling conflicts.
• Maintains inventory levels, safety stock, reorder points, and KPI parameters.
• Oversees inventory controls, cycle counts, and data accuracy.
• Coordinates with Purchasing and suppliers on orders, lead times, and quality concerns.
• Oversees receiving, storage, issuing, and material movement for production support.
• Improves warehouse organization, material flow, and traceability.
• Supervises Materials, Planning, Inventory, and Warehouse staff; provides training and evaluates performance.
• Promotes Lean, 6S, Kanban, and visual management for continuous improvement.
• Analyzes shortages, variances, and supplier performance to drive corrective actions.
