Celestica Inc. is seeking a Materials Coordinator to support planning and inventory activities in our SCM function. You will assist planners with shop orders, parts checks, and builds tracking while coordinating with manufacturing to meet delivery commitments.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, order closure, and routine reporting to customers. A focus on MRP, scheduling, and purchasing basics will help ensure timely parts availability and smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of relevant experience.
• Educational requirements may vary by geography.
• Basic math, data entry and 10-key skills.
• Knowledge of production planning fundamentals and scheduling basics.
• Familiarity with purchasing practices and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist planners in releasing shop orders, checking parts, tracking builds and coordinating with manufacturing.
• Maintain data integrity, close shop orders and meet customer commitments.
• Perform materials planning for lower value components.
• Ensure MRP orders required parts and adjust planning parameters.
• Coordinate production line schedules and interface with manufacturing.
• Create/update customer order sets and reports and distribute to customers.
