Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience entering, maintaining and verifying planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating and updating production schedules based on demand, inventory levels, and capacity.
• Enter, maintain, and verify planning data in ERP, MRP, or other production systems.
• Monitor inventory levels to support production needs.
• Help release work orders and ensure production paperwork is accurate.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, warehouse, and customer service teams on schedule changes and material availability.
• Track order status and follow up on shortages, delays, or missed production dates.
• Prepare routine planning, scheduling, and inventory reports for supervisors or planners.
• Review data for accuracy and correct discrepancies in item masters, bills of material, and inventory records.
• Support planners in balancing production priorities and available resources.
• Communicate schedule updates and planning information to relevant departments.
• Maintain organized records of orders, forecasts, schedules, and planning documents.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures in all planning activities.
