Job summary

Warps is seeking a Production Planner to join their materials and purchasing team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will ensure timely management of raw materials and scheduling to meet production targets.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a High School Diploma, and experience in buying or scheduling for manufacturing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.

This position offers office hours Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and teams.
• Past experience in buying or scheduling for a manufacturer is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely creation of purchase orders and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain weekly production schedules and adjust quantities based on forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and perform cycle counts.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in buying or scheduling

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel

Experience with ERP systems, preferably IQMS
