Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Professional for Materials Planning and Execution in Midland, TX. You will translate forecasts and orders into physical material orders, coordinating with sales, AMO, and supply chain to ensure timely delivery while minimizing inventory and costs.

The role emphasizes demand analysis, inventory optimization, and collaboration across regions and manufacturing sites, with opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in supply chain or related field or equivalent experience (2+ years' experience).
• Experience in order management, inventory optimization and management.
• Basic understanding of SAP and MRP functionality.
• Ability to work with and influence stakeholders.
• Tactical execution with a sense of urgency; Certifications such as APICS are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plans into physical orders.
• Understands business trends, opportunities and how they impact the demand forecast.
• Analyzes incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory.
• Plans and schedules order timelines to meet customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs.
• Prioritizes deliver dates with Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery as needed.
• Performs material management analyses (e.g., inventory aging, safety stock).
• Implements inventory stocking strategies and monitors safety stock levels.
