Job summary

AriensCo is seeking a Materials Technician on 1st shift to plan and coordinate material replenishment for manufacturing. You will ensure timely flow of purchased components to support all processes and maintain kanban and visual inventory systems.

The role involves training material handlers, expediting with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and solving material-related production interruptions. Strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree is required or equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience or training.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Forklift and high-lift certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates the flow of purchased components to support all processes.
• Trains, coaches and coordinates the activities of material handlers and pickers.
• Expedites or de-expedites with suppliers in coordination with Material Leader.
• Launches purchase orders to obtain material and manages related signals to suppliers.
