Job summary

Nordson Product Assembly seeks an experienced Material Planner to translate customer demand into executable supply plans, ensuring material availability and on-time delivery. This role blends tactical execution with strategic analysis using SAP, MRP, and data analytics to optimize inventory and support LLP targets.

Key duties include managing purchase and production orders, collaborating across departments, and driving improvements in inventory performance while reducing excess and obsolescence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in material planning, production planning, inventory management, or supply chain.
• Strong SAP MRP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage material supply by creating and maintaining purchase orders, production orders, and planning master data to meet customer requirements and OTD target.
• Utilize SAP MRP and planning tools to ensure material availability while meeting customer delivery and production objectives.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Engineering, Customer Service, and suppliers to resolve material constraints and support operational objectives.
• Analyze demand patterns, inventory trends, and planning performance to identify inventory optimization opportunities.
• Regularly review and optimize planning parameters including reorder points, safety stock, lead times, lot sizes, and order quantities to improve inventory performance and service levels aligned with MRD.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of planning master data (material master, planning parameters, lead times, sourcing data) to ensure effective MRP execution.
