Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking a Materials Coordinator (Customer Service) in Lawrenceburg, KY. The role focuses on materials planning, maintaining customer communications, and coordinating production plans to meet shipping requirements.

Qualifications

• Business or related degree or 1 year experience in Materials, Planning and Logistics in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor all customer communication related to Materials, Planning and Logistics procedures.
• Ensure daily customer shipping communication is completed, including ASNs and container information.
• Follow customer-dictated order fulfillment procedures and develop daily shipping plans.
• Create customer shipping documentation and maintain production plans per manufacturing protocols.
• Perform inventory analysis and recommend adjustments; maintain contact with customers for orders and changes.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering to meet daily release requirements.
