Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline or 5 years automotive manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in Omron PLC programming.
• Knowledge of plastic welding processes and secondary decoration.
• Ability to read electrical/pneumatic prints and use SolidWorks eDrawing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assembly machine activities for new product launches.
• Specify robust assembly machines with good ergonomics and standardized work.
• Develop and implement standardized work instructions and kaizen improvements.
• Troubleshoot process or equipment issues and lead engineering changes.
