Job summary

DistributionNOW in Tomball, TX is seeking a Materials Coordinator to manage stock planning and procurement activities. You will source and create purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and support MRP evaluation to optimize inventory levels.

Responsibilities include servicing accounts, interacting with customers and vendors, providing product consulting, and performing warehouse or driver duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive mill tool knowledge required.
• Experience with PVF and MRO supplies is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and have a valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and SAP; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Service existing accounts.
• Interact with customers and vendors to complete sales orders and invoicing.
• Provide technical sales support and product consulting to customers.
• Cultivate and grow customer base.
• Perform warehouse and/or driver duties when required.
