Job summary

Wildlife Acoustics, Inc. in Maynard, MA is seeking a Materials Requirements Planner & Buyer to align engineering, contract manufacturing and supply for our products.

You will build and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), analyze production schedules for risk, and manage safety stock to keep parts flowing from prototype builds through production. You will own the material plan, collaborate with engineering, quality and inventory control, and drive purchasing decisions with a hands-on approach in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BOM management, materials planning and/or purchasing experience.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience with attention to BOM accuracy.
• Familiarity with ECO/ECN processes and BOM flow to purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and version BOMs with engineering and contract manufacturers.
• Track ECOs/ECNs and update BOMs, costs, and POs as needed.
• Maintain BOM accuracy across prototype to production stages.
• Keep part numbering, AML/AVL, and item master data clean and current.
• Run MRP against production schedules and coordinate with contract manufacturers.
• Issue and manage purchase orders; negotiate lead times and supplier options.
