Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Material Expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials and services for our Columbus, OH operations. You will expedite POs, coordinate shipments, and maintain ERP/MRP data while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

The role supports inventory management for production and projects, with a focus on minimizing disruptions and driving supply chain efficiency through process improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (or assoc with exp).
• 2+ years of supply chain, logistics, purchasing, planning, or materials experience.
• Experience tracking POs, coordinating shipments, supplier communications.
• ERP/MRP systems knowledge SAP/Oracle/Epicor.

Essential Skills

• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic data analysis.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, procurement, or project-based environments.
• Familiarity with supplier scorecards, OTD metrics, and inventory replenishment.
• Experience supporting process improvement initiatives.

Work Environment

This role operates in a corporate office environment at a downtown headquarters location. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The environment is highly collaborative, with frequent interaction with buyers, planners, materials teams, project managers, suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders. The opportunity is structured as a long-term engagement and includes paid holidays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.53/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
