Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a qualified Materials/Logistics leader to oversee receiving, storage, replenishment and 3PL management for a $100m kitchen cabinet assembly plant. You will mentor a team of 20–25 employees and implement Lean practices to improve safety, quality and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include space planning, pick location optimization, on-time production delivery, and data-driven workflow improvements; bachelor's degree and 3 years' management in manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum of 3 years’ management experience in manufacturing, warehousing or distribution.
• Experience with Lean Management
• Experience with warehouse management systems
• Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Performance of the receiving and put away team, including receiving, storage, inventory control, customer backorder recovery, space planning and 3PL management
• Performance of the picking and replenishment team, including inventory control, on time delivery, escalation of quality defects
• Meet objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, cost, customer service and inventory accuracy
• Implement best practices through lean practices including Kaizen events, value stream mapping, problem solving, A3 action planning and standard work
• Utilize a data driven approach to ensure workflow, customer service and storage optimization; anticipate issues and resolve bottlenecks
