Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Supervise year-end physical inventory procedures.
• Direct write-offs of obsolescent and damaged inventory.
• Oversee production control planning and scheduling.
• Maintain customer contact regarding releases and deliveries.
• Coordinate with purchasing on material delivery schedules.
• Develop reporting systems related to materials function.
• Manage shipping and receiving functions.
• Maximize just-in-time inventory practices.
• Ensure adherence to established procedures in materials department functions.
• Motivate and develop subordinate staff.
