Job summary

RTX is seeking a MRO / chemicals materials and Operations Management professional for an onsite role in Lompoc, CA. The candidate will navigate material requirements, lead 3PL coordination, and drive process improvements across production and supply chain.

The role requires a university degree with substantial experience in materials, production control, and procurement. Expect collaboration with factory and operations teams to ensure timely production and material availability.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and 5 years of experience.
• Experience in material management, Production Control, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing Operations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
• Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
• Manage 3PL suppliers and act as site lead / POC for these 3PLs.
• Place orders through TCMIS / Incora system used to coordinate with supply chain and suppliers.
• Work to support factory to resolve chemical material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
• Collaborate with factory and operations teams to ensure production execution.
