Job summary

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company in Linden, CA is seeking a Material Handler to move materials within our manufacturing facility, load and unload, and ensure smooth flow through shakers and mixers. You will keep a clean, safe work area and assist machine operators.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods including lifting at least 50 lbs.
• Willing to work nights and weekends
• Able to work in a dusty environment
• Capable of climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting as needed

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.
• Opens containers and handles materials with hand tools.
• Loads materials onto pallets and moves them as directed.
• Transfers materials to vehicles and secures loads for transit.
• Cleans work area, machines, and equipment to maintain safety.
