Job summary

Adient is seeking a Materials/ERP Specialist at our Foamech site to ensure timely communication of customer demand events and maintain ERP-based material control processes. You will manage item master data, BOM, shipping locations, and inventory parameters, and drive production scheduling and accuracy across the plant.

The role requires strong ERP proficiency, ability to coordinate daily MRP runs, and collaboration with Material Analysts to resolve inventory issues and support delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
• Automotive background preferred.
• Good attendance and ability to adapt to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ERP system for Material functions (Item Master, BOM, ship-to locations, inventory parameters).
• Creates daily production schedules and ensures production output is recorded in ERP.
• Communicates No Surprise Forms to customers when demand variations occur.
• Communicates demand information plant-wide for volume awareness.
• Reconciles customer cum inaccuracies and tracks inventory inaccuracies with Material Analysts.
• Lead for coordinating MRP daily runs and Supplier Schedule Output.
