Job summary

Adient US LLC in Kentucky (Foamech) seeks a Materials/ERP coordinator to ensure accurate demand planning and timely MRP execution. You will maintain ERP data, schedule production, and communicate variations to the plant and customers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Material Analysts, BOM teardowns, and adherence to safety and MMSA procedures. Prior automotive experience and strong computer literacy are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor level degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
  • Automotive background and reliable employment record preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, and procedures.
  • Computer literacy and ability to create visual aids for communication purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains ERP system for Material functions (Item Master, BOM, ship to locations, inventory parameters).
  • Creates daily production schedules and records output in ERP.
  • Communicates demand variations to customers via No Surprise Forms.
  • Coordinates MRP daily runs and Supplier Schedule Output plant-wide.
  • Tracks inventory-related inaccuracies and drives root-cause resolution.
  • Lead for BOM teardowns and recording findings.
  • Ensures safety procedures and MMSA-compliant materials processes.
  • Supports health/safety/environment investigations and 8D problem resolution.
