• Production planning: maintain master schedule and resolve conflicts.
• Inventory control: manage parts availability and safety stock.
• Traffic: coordinate shipping to meet production targets.
• New products: ensure compliance with requirements.
• Policies/Processes: develop policies to maximize service and minimize inventory.
• Management: recruit, train, coach, and set goals.
