Job summary

GD Energy Products is seeking a Materials Manager in Fort Worth, TX to optimize materials and finished goods administration. The role reports to Andrew Hoefer and supervises seven direct reports, supporting production and inventory control.

Responsibilities include production planning, scheduling, policy development, and cross-functional coordination with suppliers and plants. A Bachelor's degree and SAP experience are preferred and required respectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in materials control as a manager/supervisor.
• SAP experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Production planning: align schedules, resolve issues, evaluate changes and set effective dates.
• Inventory control: manage master schedule, requisitions, and safety stock policies.
• Traffic: coordinate shipping to meet production targets.
• New products: ensure compliance with requirements for introductions.
• Policies/Processes: develop order policies to optimize service and inventory.
• Management: recruit, train, coach and set team goals.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
