Job summary

Omega Engineering Inc. is seeking a Materials Manager to lead purchasing, planning, inventory control and stockroom operations to ensure material availability for production and customer needs.

You will supervise teams, develop sourcing strategies, and collaborate with production and sales to align material requirements with demand, while implementing process improvements and maintaining ERP-driven data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing materials management.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience; management training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise purchasing, planning, inventory control and stockroom teams.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to reduce costs and improve supplier performance.
• Oversee material planning and production scheduling to meet forecasted demand.
• Establish and monitor inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure receiving processes timely and accurate receipt of goods and maintain organized stockroom operations.
• Analyze supply chain performance and implement improvements to reduce lead times and costs.
