Job summary

Faith Technologies Inc. seeks a Material Manager to supervise the materials department, coordinating cross-functional teams to allocate resources and meet production goals.

The role focuses on improving material handling and inventory control across the organization. You will forecast warehousing needs, partner with suppliers to optimize orders, and drive continuous improvement using WMS/ERP technologies to reduce costs while maintaining service levels.

Qualifications

• Education: Highschool diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in operations or business preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years related experience with material flow improvements and lean materials management.
• Travel: 0-10% based on business need.
• Work Schedule: 6 am–6 pm or 6 pm–6 am, Mon–Fri; nights, weekends, holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team in developing, planning, and executing material strategies and processes that drive ongoing operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improved methods of material handling, presentation, and inventory control.
• Forecast and plan for warehousing, equipment, and human resources to manage growth and demand while maintaining performance.
• Identify opportunities to collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize buy quantities, packaging, logistics efficiency, and inventory parameters.
• Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives for safer, more efficient methods across operations.
• Lead adoption of new technologies such as WMS, ERP, automation to improve efficiency and visibility in logistics.
• Develop long-term strategies to reduce material costs while maintaining high service levels.
• Establish standardized procedures and best practices across materials management.
• Lead project management efforts to track needs, monitor projects, manage schedules, and ensure budget compliance.
• Participate in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program.
