Job summary

ARCH Global Precision in Pennsylvania seeks a Materials Manager to oversee planning, procurement, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods to meet production schedules and customer requirements. You will coordinate with quality, engineering, production, and service teams, manage supplier relationships, and maintain inventory accuracy while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.

This role demands leadership and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Business or Supply Chain Management recommended.
• 1-2 years' experience material planning and purchasing.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds on request.
• Experience reviewing raw material or process certifications and interpreting ranges on material certifications.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter who works independently and in teams.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with quality, engineering, production, and customer service to ensure 100% on-time delivery by managing schedules and addressing issues.
• Manage incoming and outgoing materials.
• Verify raw material certifications meet all chemical and physical requirements.
• Identify and release raw materials and components for assemblies.
• Develop and implement methods and best practices for inventory forecasting, purchasing, and control.
• Foster relationships with suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Ensure inventory counts are accurate in collaboration with Finance and address discrepancies.
• Adhere to company purchasing policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment compliant with EH&S regulations.
