Job summary

INX International is hiring a Material Manager in California to oversee material flows, inventories, and supplier coordination across plant sites. You will manage SAP master data, optimize replenishment strategies, and support cross-functional teams in procurement, production, and quality.

This role emphasizes strong MRP, lean processes, and continuous improvement, with a focus on cost reduction, on-time delivery, and GMP compliance within a color-focused, sustainability-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline or equivalent on-the-job work experience in materials management.
• Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.
• Successful track record of utilizing problem solving methods to continuously improve quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Leadership training or work experience that demonstrates leadership capability in cross-functional teams is a plus.
• Relevant certification in APICS, ISM or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing SAP material master data for completeness and integrity to ensure adherence to INX policy and protocol.
• Managing warehousing standards as established by INX, including external warehousing as required.
• Ensuring the effective execution of material delivery and replenishment strategies to support the master schedule and inventory metric health.
• Supporting Procurement, Planning, Production, R&D, Legal, HR and Quality as needed.
• Addressing all concerns in a timely manner, including, but not limited to, material, equipment, and process.
• Meeting and exceeding warehouse sanitation, 5S and GMP requirements.
• Leading and/or participating on continuous improvement teams as required.
