Job summary

INX International Ink Co. in Homewood, IL is seeking an Assistant Material Manager to oversee the flow of materials into and out of plants and warehouses. You will manage SAP data, inventory metrics, and supplier coordination to sustain master schedules and cost efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in operations or supply chain, plus experience with MRP, lean manufacturing, and cross‑functional collaboration. A plus: APICS certifications and ink industry familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations or supply chain, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in inventory management, MRP and lean processes.
• Proven problem-solving skills and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage material flow into and out of plants and warehouses.
• Oversee SAP material master data integrity and governance.
• Coordinate with procurement, planning, production, HR and quality as needed.
• Ensure on-time delivery and maintain inventory metrics health.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and TPM activities.
• Own the site MRP process, including PO mgmt., inventory levels and cycle counts.
