Job summary

Responsibilities

• Directs, organizes, coordinates, and supervises material control functions including purchasing and delivery to support production and shipping.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and sources for assets, materials, or services.
• Develop and implement inventory control systems; monitor POs and inventory levels.
• Coordinate material flow with purchasing, sales, engineering and production.
• Review forecasts and MRP to determine material needs; ensure availability.
• Lead capacity planning and Kanban/WIP control.
• Prepare and process purchase orders; maintain supplier relationships.
